Bachmann reveals 2012 catalogue

On Tuesday March 13 Bachmann revealed its 2012 catalogue for its ‘OO’ and ‘N’ gauge ranges offering modellers a tantalising selection of more than 25 new models for release over the next 18 months across the two scales.

In ‘OO’ gauge the headlines were taken by models of the LNER ‘D11/2′ 4-4-0 (‘Scottish Director’), the LNER ‘J11′ 0-6-0, Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway ‘1008′ 2-4-2T, Midland Railway ‘4F’ 0-6-0, Class 101 DMU, Midland Compound 4-4-0 and GWR ‘City’ 4-4-0. Added to this are chassis upgrades for the LMS Ivatt ‘2MT’ 2-6-2T, GWR ‘Modified Hall’ 4-6-0 and BR ‘WD’ 2-8-0 to feature DCC decoder sockets.

In ‘N’ gauge new locomotives announced cover the SR Bulleid air-smoothed ‘Merchant Navy’ 4-6-2, LMS Stanier ‘Princess Coronation’ 4-6-2, LNER Peppercorn ‘A2′ 4-6-2, BR ‘4MT’ 2-6-4T, Class 37/4 variant, Class 55 ‘Deltic’ and Class 70 ‘Powerhaul’. A range of new rolling stock items are planned too including Bulleid and BR Mk 2 carriages together with new wagons.
