INDIVIDUAL'S LAYOUTS

For the third year running the Hornby Magazine is proud to present its annual readers’ vote to find the best model railway featured in this magazine. This year it’s bigger and better and there are two categories to pick your favourites from.

We’ve named three layouts of the year so and the annual readers’ vote is back again offering you the opportunity to name your favourite from those featured in Hornby Magazine between the January and December 2009 issues.
There are 39 layouts to choose from, 10 in the club category and 29 in the individual category, offering a broad range of choice, but to remind you of each one we’ve presented a pictorial round up of all the layouts here.
As with last year’s competition, it’s the readers who decide which layout should be crowned the winner, so if you have a favourite and you want to make sure it stands a chance of winning, make sure that you show your appreciation for the modelling involved and vote. Previous winners are the Taunton Model Railway Group’s Bath Green Park in 2007, the Manchester Model Railway Society’s Dewsbury Midland for the Club category in 2008 and Roy Emery’s Fenchurch Cutting for the Individual category in 2008. Only you can decide which two layouts top the votes in 2009.
For now, here’s a brief reminder of all the layouts and the categories they fall into. Enjoy looking back at them, but just as importantly, don’t forget to cast your vote! The closing date for entries is February 20 2010, and the winning layouts will be announced in the April 2010 issue of Hornby Magazine.
