Hornby Magazine has teamed up with Dapol to bring modellers a ready-to-run ‘OO’ gauge model of the sought after BR diesel brake tender with an expected release date in Spring 2013.

Bachmann has revealed the latest progress with its brand new tooling for the English Electric Class 20 for ‘N’ gauge and the Southern Railway Pillbox brakevan for ‘OO’ gauge.
On Tuesday March 13 Bachmann revealed its 2012 catalogue for its ‘OO’ and ‘N’ gauge ranges offering modellers a tantalising selection of more than 25 new models for release over the next 18 months across the two scales.

The National Railway Museum has revealed that its next special commission in partnership with Bachmann will be Robinson ‘D11/1’ 4-4-0 506 Butler Henderson and it is expected to be available during 2012.
The purchase involves seven titles published by Ian Allan (Buses, Classic Aircraft, Combat Aircraft, Hornby, Modern Railways, Railways Illustrated, and Vintage Roadscene) together with a number of partworks and Annual publications and four Ian Allan owned franchise titles Bus and Coach Preservation, Classic Bus, Modern Locomotives Illustrated and Steam Days.
