Kernow teases ‘OO’ Bolster E

Kernow Model Rail Centre has revealed that its latest work in progress is the bogie Bolster E for ‘OO’ gauge which will be produced as a follow up to its BR era ‘Turbot’ ballast spoil wagon for the scale. The order book has not been opened yet, but Kernow is inviting livery interest via its Facebook page.

The Bolster E fleet operated across the BR network with 1,200 being built between 1961-1962. A large number were rebuilt into ‘Turbot’ spoil wagons in the early 1980s. Look out for more on this newly announced model in HM128.
