VIDEO: Hornby Twin Track Sound diesel speaker upgrades

In HM124, October 2017, the Hornby Magazine team show how Hornby’s Twin Track Sound decoders can be upgraded for even better sound quality with a simple change of speaker with the new solo decoders for the Class 31, 37, 47 and 60. We even install them in Bachmann and ViTrains locomotives. Watch them here and read the full feature in HM124, on sale from September 14.

Please note, that following further advice from specialists in the digital sound field that the Zimo twin driver LS40x22 speaker should not be used with the Hornby Twin Track Sound decoder as it only a 4ohm impedance speaker. The Twin Track Sound decoders require 8ohm speakers to operate correctly such as the Zimo LS26x20 (used in the Class 47) or the LS40x20 single driver speaker.
